March Madness Means… Martial Arts!!

7 local Martial Arts Schools are offering intensive seminars featuring
their skills to celebrate March, American Red Cross Month. Our students
can experience other styles of Karate, Kempo, Judo, Krav Maga, Aikido,
Japanese Sword, Jiujitsu, Arnis or Tai Chi.

Suggested Donation to the Red Cross: Just a fraction of the real value in knowledge!
This is a tremendous chance to sample a wide variety of martial arts, with some great instructors, and do a good deed for your local community! All proceeds to benefit the local chapter of the American Red Cross.

Our First Group of Health Professionals Ready to Graduate!

8 Health Professionals, OT's and PT's in attendance, are just completing our 64 hour intensive course in teaching taiji and qigong to special populations. Finishing in early March, these fine professionals will spread out in the WNY area to teach for Parkinson's groups, senior assisted living, ms groups, etc!

Blasdell Brown Belt Presentation First!

Moved, Open and Lookin' Good!

We are now moved and open in our new 12,000 sq ft. state of the art facility, 3211 Transit Road. We have a huge matted area, a hard wood training floor, a separate 2,300 sq. ft. room for tai chi. The action is heating up as we have added classes, made more convenient times, and added two new programs....judo and aikido, with Sensei Eric Joseph, 5th dan/2nd dan!

Champion Lessons/Sparathon Huge Success!

150 students and teachers of various styles gathered to train with World Champ Peter Gilpin, N. American Champ Bill Adams, Regional Champs Marty Cacavas and Bob Kwandrans. in two hours of intense sparring training. Plus National Judo Champ Eric Joseph, and local Grappling Coach Joe Gutowski taught grappling, pins and submissions.

This was immediately folllowed by 20, 2 minute rounds with a 1 minute break. What an intense, non-stop hour! Awards were given to Most Spirited, Best Partner, Best Puncher, Kicker, and Grapplers. A list of Award winners, and pictures of the event will be added soon. See photos here!
