WHAT IS WORLD T'AI CHI DAY?!

On April 6th, 2002 at 10 am, beginning in the Earth's earliest time zone, a peaceful soothing event unfolded, and changed the world forever, as it bloomed around the Earth throughout the entire day-time zone by time zone. Gently and effortlessly the world 's taiji groups breathed together in a T'ai Chi & QiGong relay of calm. Bill Adams' Martial Arts & Fitness Centers' taiji classes participated by having their celebration at Green Lake in Orchard Park.

World T'ai Chi & QiGong Day was held on the Saturday immediately following the United Nation's World Health Day, and entailed T'ai Chi & QiGong groups around the world gathering at 10 am (each city's local time) on April 6, 2002 to exhibit T'ai Chi & QiGong to the world in mass gatherings in public parks or the lawns of public buildings, so as to be visible to the community and media.

There were a number of positive purposes for staging this historic event.
